A terrific show, very well organised with a huge attendance and the icing on the cake, a beautiful, fine autumn day.

 

Leading prices of Charolais cross cattle from the Winter Fair in Roscommon

Lot 215 – Charolais cross weanling heifer exhibited by the Ronan brothers from Clareorris, Co. Mayo.  270kg made €2,850.

Lot 161 – Charolais cross weanling bull exhibited by Shane Giltinane from Croagh, Co. Limerick. 435kg made €2,400.

Lot 174 – Charolais cross weanling heifer exhibited by Joanna and Hazel Regan from Strokestown, Co. Roscommon. 410kg made €1,720.

Lot 33 – Charolais cross weanling bull exhibited by Shane Giltinane from Croagh, Co. limerick. 405kg made €1,600.

Lot 106 – Charolais cross heifer exhibited by Gerard Ahern from Kilbrittain Co. Cork.  570kg made €1,900.

Lot 65 – Charolais cross weanling heifer exhibited by Andrew and Catherine Mc Carthy from Mullagh, Co. Clare. 460kg made €1,700.

Lot 85 – Charolais cross heifer exhibited by the Dyer family from Claremorris, Co. Mayo. 1015kg made €3,320.

Lot 56 – Charolais cross bullock exhibited by George Hegarty from Co. Longord. 790kg made €2,440.

Lot 82 – Charolais cross heifer exhibited by Tom Yorke from Ballymahon Co. Longford.  730kg made €2,100.
