CHAROLAIS TOP IN-CALF QUALITY COMMERCIAL HEIFER SALE 21/11/2014

A packed ringside and outstanding quality cattle on offer resulted in a top price of €3,000 for a Charolais commercial in-calf heifer in Elphin Mart on Friday last (7^th November). Seller Martin O’Connor, Clooneybeirne, Strokestown was inundated with enquiries for stock prior to the sale and buyers were present from all over Ireland and from Scotland. The quality on offer certainly did not disappoint and brisk bidding was the order of the night.
