Charolais Cross Heifer Calf Wins Overall Junior Commercial Champion at Tullamore

For the third year in a row, the Irish Charolais Cattle Society invested €3,500 in prize money for the three Commercial Charolais Classes at the National Livestock Show in Tullamore. Since the introduction of the three classes three years ago, the quality of Commercial Charolais cattle shown in Tullamore has risen dramatically, with nearly thirty Commercial Charolais exhibited in the three classes this year. The quality really shone through when Pearse Mc Namee’s Charolais Cross Heifer Calf was awarded the Overall Junior Commercial Champion of the show, a wonderful achievement against the best of all breeds.
