Caylers Peroni
It was fantastic to see the top price Charolais bull at Welshpool on Saturday with Irish connections. Caylers Peroni from the Barker family topped the Sale at £7,600. Peroni’s dam, Caylers Neeve, was a heifer when she bred Peroni, and is a daughter of the Irish bred Rosanna Jupiter. Bred by Pat Stephens in County Carlow, Jupiter has produced some exceptional males and females for the Barker family in recent years.
