British Charolais met a strong commercial demand from a packed ringside at the major Autumn sales in Stirling. 84 ENTRIES THROUGH THE RING AVERAGED £6,654 10 LOTS MADE FIVE FIGURES SUMS 55 LOTS MADE 5,000 GNS OR MORE. A further 11 lots were booked through the final auctioneer’s sale sheet bringing the total clearance to 88%. Sale leader at 22,000gns was Maerdy Ignition TI +66, SRI +61, a 19 month old by the 10,000gns Blelack Fabulous and maternal brother to the 45,000gns Stirling junior champion, Mardy Express. Bred and exhibited by Flintshire vet, Esmor Evans, Mold he was knocked down sold in a three way split to Wallace Brown, Kilmarnock, Archie MacGregor, Allanfauld, Kilsyth and Hamish Goldie, Ruthwell Dumfries.
