Carrigallen mart show and sale of heifers sponsored by the ICCS 7/10/16

Champion Charolais cross heifer and best breeding type Charolais cross heifer in Carrigallen exhibited by Gerard Miley from Knockcroghery, Co. Roscommon. Sired by his Bova Nebuleux sired stock bull she weighed 480kgs and sold for €1800 3.75c/kg.

First prize Charolais cross heifer in Carrigallen exhibited by Jim Jackson from Carrigallen, Co. Leitrim. Sired by the AI bull Fiston she weighed 415kgs and sold €1750 4.21c/kg. Jim also sold a second prize winning Charolais cross heifer by Fiston weighing 360kgs and selling for €1220 3.38c/kg.
