What a day for Co. Monaghan breeder Shane Conlon of the Shacon herd, taking the top honours at the 30th National Charolais Show in Tullamore
SHACON ADORABLE first claimed 1st prize in one of the strongest classes seen at a National Show in years, before going on to take Senior Female Calf Champion and she didn’t stop there. She then went on to claim the pinnacle of them all, the Overall Charolais Champion of the Show.
Adorable is sired by the society bull Reglisse.
It was also a very worthwhile trip to Tullamore for John Ward of Bantry, Co. Cork, whose impressive young bull COLOMANE AUGUSTA (ET) was awarded Senior Champion and Reserve Overall Champion. This super bull is sired by the society bull Neptune.
A massive congratulations to both breeders on their outstanding achievements.
