A SUPER SHOW OF CHAROLAIS CATTLE AT OUR 30th NATIONAL SHOW

It was a fantastic display of Charolais cattle at Tullamore Show on Sunday as we celebrated our 30th National Charolais Show.

The show brought together some of the very best Charolais cattle in the country, with exhibitors travelling from Cork to Donegal and every county in between.  The standard of cattle forward was exceptional, making it a truly memorable National Show.

Our judges, Mathew Milne of the Elgin Herd and John MacGregor of the Allanfauld Herd, described the cattle on show as being of exceptional quality and outstanding examples of the Charolais breed.

Overall Champion went to Shane Conlon of the Shacon Herd, County Monaghan, with his impressive September-born heifer Shacon Adorable ET, sired by the Society bull Reglisse. Earlier in the day, Adorable had been tapped out as Senior Female Calf Champion.

A huge congratulations to all of the exhibitors, breeders, winners and prize-winners who made our 30th National Charolais Show such a tremendous success.

The quality of cattle forward was a fantastic reflection of the strength of the Charolais breed in Ireland.  From Cork to Donegal and everywhere in between, it was wonderful to see so many breeders coming together to showcase their cattle and support the breed.

A massive thank you to our judges, Mathew Milne (female ring) and John MacGregor (male ring) for doing such a fantastic job and another huge thank you all of our amazing sponsors.  We truly appreciate your continued support.

Thanks also to all who helped put the show together and especially to our stewards on the day, without whose help there would be no show.
