The following new regulations regarding the sale of animals to Northern Ireland have come into affect:
1. Northern Ireland buyers must contact their local DVO (DAERA) and get approved as Bovine Establishments and Importers, before buying animals in Southern Ireland.
2. All sellers/exhibitors must contact their local DVO (DAFM) and get set up on TRACES, before selling animals for export to Northern Ireland.
Please note these are mandatory new regulations in accordance with the DAFM and DAERA.
